The principle of ESP® |
ESP® is active all the time. It recognises critical situations before the driver can and intervenes independently. ESP® brakes each individual wheel independently from the others, to keep the vehicle on course. In addition, ESP® can also intervene in the engine and transmission. |

ESP® checks 25 times per second:Where does the driver want to steer? |

ESP® takes action:It "steers" the vehicle by intervening in the braking. The car is held more safely on track. |
