European initiatives

Traffic experts in Europe agree: ESP® should be installed as standard in every new passenger car. In many cases this active safety system prevents a vehicle from skidding. It can thus prevent accidents and stabilize the vehicle in critical situations.

A large number of independent scientific investigations confirm the great effectiveness of the active safety system ESP®. This is why Bosch is firmly committed to supporting two important initiatives: "25,000 Lives to Save" and the information campaign "Choose ESC!", both of which pursue the same goal: to increase safety on the roads of Europe and thus preserve human life.

Within the framework of this commitment, Bosch received the highest award of the worldwide automobile association FIA (Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile).
